Honey Mustard Pretzel Chicken Goujons

Ingredients

  • SuperChick Chicken Goujons
  • Pretzels (about 1 cup), crushed into fine crumbs
  • Honey Mustard Sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking Oil

Method

  1. Place pretzels in a food processor or a plastic bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or your hands. You want the pretzel crumbs to be small and uniform in size.
  2. Preheat the oven to the temperature specified for baking the chicken goujons (usually around 400°F or 200°C). Season the chicken goujons with a pinch of salt and pepper. Dip each chicken goujon into the honey mustard sauce to coat it. Roll the coated chicken goujon in the crushed pretzel crumbs, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the chicken. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the pretzel crumbs.
  3. Place the coated chicken goujons on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Leave a bit of space between each goujon to ensure even cooking.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake according to the package instructions for the chicken goujons, usually about 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the pretzel coating is golden and crispy.
  5. Once the Honey Mustard Pretzel Chicken Goujons are cooked, remove them from the oven. Serve the goujons with extra honey mustard sauce on the side for dipping. You can also serve them with side dishes like sweet potato fries, coleslaw, or a simple green salad.
